Massage in Santa Rosa
that meets the body where it is.
Seven massage modalities in my Santa Rosa studio, in 70 or 90-minute sessions. From Swedish for relaxation through deep tissue and trigger point for chronic patterns. 900 hours of foundational training and 450 hours of advanced neuromuscular certification, applied to whatever you bring in.
Seven ways to work with the body.
Each one has its own page, and each is separately bookable. Choose the style that fits today, or let the session find its own shape once you are on the table.
A relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress, enhanced mental clarity, and greater flexibility. A great massage for first timers.
A slow-motion form of bodywork that relieves tension in the deeper layers of tissue. Highly effective for releasing chronic stress areas from misalignment, repetitive motion, and past injuries. Open communication during the session keeps it comfortable; some soreness afterward is normal, so drink plenty of water to help flush what gets released.
Focused work that stimulates and releases "trigger points": tender knots of tension in the belly of the muscle, built up over a lifetime of physical, mental, and emotional stress. Focused pressure releases them through a variety of techniques. It can be intense at times, but the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.
Bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women, whose bodies endure tremendous stress through dramatic physical and emotional change. Techniques developed for the expecting mother relieve pain and discomfort, ease joint pain from added weight and postural shifts, and support better breathing and relaxation.
A gentle, nurturing style developed specifically for current and former cancer patients, whose unique needs must be addressed for massage to be safe and beneficial. Each person has a different story and different needs around treatment and after-effects; the session is built carefully around what gives that client the best possible experience.
Immerse your senses in a custom aromatic setting with pressure fit to your request. The ultimate massage for anyone looking for a deeply relaxing session.
Soft-tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the body by stretching the fascia, the connective tissue covering all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures. Includes a before-and-after body assessment to pinpoint the muscle worked and show the gain in range of motion.
