What I collect,
and what I do not.

Privacy and confidentiality

Your privacy is deeply respected during every session. Everything shared or experienced within your session is treated as confidential and held in a safe, judgment-free space, with the exception of situations where disclosure is legally required for safety or by law.

What this website collects

When you send me a message or request an appointment. Your name, email address, phone number, and anything you type into the message or notes field. Appointment requests are held in Wix Bookings, the calendar system behind this site.

When you subscribe to my newsletter. Your email address, your first name if you give one, and the date you confirmed.

When you visit any page. The page address, the town, postal code and country the visit came from, the site that referred you, and whether the request looked like a browser or an automated crawler.

What this website does not collect

Your IP address is never stored. No cookie is set. No identifier of any kind is assigned to you, and nothing recorded here can be traced back to a person. Town and postal code are the finest location kept, which tells Petaluma from Healdsburg and goes no further.

There is no advertising network on this site, no social media tracking pixel, and no profile built about you. Your information is never sold and never traded.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. This site performs no cross-site tracking and carries no third-party advertising, so there is nothing for that signal to switch off. It is honoured by default, for everyone, whether your browser asks or stays quiet.

Who else sees anything

Three services are involved in running this site:

Service	What it does
Cloudflare	Serves the pages and provides the town-level visit counts described above.
Wix	Holds the appointment calendar and booking records.
Resend	Delivers appointment confirmations, replies to your messages, and the newsletter.

None of them are permitted to use your information for their own marketing.

How long things are kept

Appointment records. Appointment records are kept while I am your therapist, so that when you come back I can pick up where the last session left off. They stay on file until you ask me to remove them.

Email delivery records. Resend holds the content and delivery record of messages this site sends for 30 days, then removes them automatically. Messages that arrive in my own inbox stay there until I delete them.

Newsletter subscriptions. These last until you unsubscribe. Every issue carries an unsubscribe link that works in one click and takes effect straight away, and you can also unsubscribe here at any time. Unsubscribing stops the emails and keeps your address on a suppression list so a later import cannot put you back. If you would rather it was deleted altogether, ask and it is removed.

Visit counts. These carry no personal information, so they are kept as aggregate statistics with nothing in them to identify.

Your choices

Write to chelsea@chelseashealingboutique.com or call (707) 596-3117 to:

• ask what information I hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• have your records removed
• unsubscribe from the newsletter

I answer within a week. Removing your appointment records may mean starting fresh at a future visit, and that is your call to make.

California residents have these rights under state law. They are offered here to everyone, wherever you live.

Children

This site is meant for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Appointments for anyone under 18 are arranged by a parent or guardian, who provides the details.

Changes to this page

Material changes are posted here with a new date at the top. The date above is the current version.
